Liverpool Animal Shelter

Liverpool Animal Shelter, hosted at Rossmore Veterinary Hospital, provides care and rehoming services for lost and abandoned pets.

This location serves as the official council pound for Liverpool City Council, Camden Council, and Canterbury-Bankstown Council, managing lost-and-found and adoption services on their behalf.

Adoption

Adoptions are by appointment only; contact the shelter to book. Animals adopted through Council come microchipped and desexed (or with a desexing arrangement).

Alternatively, you can take the dog to your nearest veterinary clinic, where staff can scan for a microchip and assist in locating the owner.
