Ann Cashman Reserve

Located in Sydney’s Inner West, Ann Cashman Reserve in Leichhardt provides a small, local off-leash space for dogs when it’s not being used for organised sport.

The park is unfenced and has a relaxed, neighbourhood feel, mainly used by nearby residents for short daily outings. Its modest size makes it more of a community convenience than a destination park.

Dogs are permitted off-leash only during allocated times outside of organised sporting activities. As the reserve is unfenced and bordered by local streets, reliable recall is important. The grass can become patchy after rain, and there are no dog-specific amenities, so owners should bring water.

The reserve is within walking distance of Leichhardt’s cafés, shops, and transport connections, with larger options such as Pioneers Memorial Park and Richard Murden Reserve nearby.

Ann Cashman Reserve is best suited to smaller or calmer dogs looking for a convenient, local exercise spot.
