Beare Park Off Leash Area

Located in Sydney’s Inner East, Beare Park is a popular off-leash space in the harbourside suburb of Elizabeth Bay. 

The park is unfenced and has a relaxed, scenic atmosphere, with leafy trees and waterfront views creating a calm environment for dogs and their owners. Its location by the bay makes it a favourite spot for locals looking to combine dog exercise with a quiet outdoor escape.

The park is compact but charming, with grassy areas shaded by mature trees. Seating is available along the paths, and the open design makes it easy to watch dogs as they play. While there are no dedicated dog facilities, its setting by the water gives it a distinctive appeal.

As the space is unfenced, dogs with strong recall are best suited here, particularly as the park sits close to the harbour. The surface is mostly grass, which can get damp after rain, and there are no dedicated water stations, so owners should bring their own.

Elizabeth Bay’s cafes and shops are within easy walking distance, offering plenty of options before or after a park visit. Rushcutters Bay Park is also nearby for owners wanting to extend their walk along the foreshore.
