Christison Park

Overview
Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Christison Park in Vaucluse is a timed off-leash dog park. Dogs may be unleashed between 3:30 pm and 10:30 am, except when organised sports bookings are in place. Outside those times, dogs must be on leash.
The park is known for its large open fields used for rugby union, soccer, touch football and hockey, with floodlit training available on one field (Oval No.1), plus multiple multi-purpose courts, fitness stations, coastal walking paths, and an interactive exercise trail. Street parking is available along Old South Head Road.
Owners should note that during sports bookings some fields may be occupied and off-leash access may be restricted. The area is unfenced, so recall is important.
The reserve is perched on ocean cliffs and adjoins the historic Macquarie Lighthouse. It’s close to the Federation Coast Walk and offers harbour views, with local café and harbour amenities nearby.
Christison Park is best suited to energetic, social dogs that handle shared sporting spaces well and have dependable recall.
Christison Park is managed by Woollahra Council.
