Meadowbank Park (Field 13)

Things to Do

Overview

Located in Sydney’s Northern Suburbs, Meadowbank Park in Meadowbank is an unfenced off-leash area. The riverside reserve is one of the largest open spaces in the City of Ryde, with multiple sports fields and extensive parkland.

The park is known for its wide ovals, cricket pitches, netball courts and shared cycle and walking paths. Amenities include toilets, picnic areas and parking across the precinct.

Dogs may be exercised off leash at all times within the designated off-leash area, as shown on council maps.

Meadowbank Park sits beside the Parramatta River foreshore and connects directly to the Ryde River Walk. It is in close proximity to Memorial Park’s fenced dog park and also Meadowbank Dog Beach, giving owners a mix of open field, enclosed space and water access within the same precinct.

This unfenced setting caters best for active dogs with reliable recall, particularly those that enjoy large sports grounds and riverside walking routes. Owners can also choose nearby fenced or water-based options depending on their dog’s needs.

Meadowbank Park is managed by the City of Ryde.
