Scarborough Park Fenced Dog Park

Scarborough Park is a welcoming, fully fenced off‑leash dog area located at Civic Avenue in Kogarah. Nestled within a community-friendly reserve, it offers a safe, contained environment for dogs and owners alike—a great mix of convenience and comfort.

Inside the secure fencing, dogs can roam and play freely across a well-maintained, open lawn. Amenities include a water bubbler, shaded seating, and waste bins to keep things tidy—though be aware that the ground can occasionally become muddy after rain. Nearby street parking makes access easy for quick visits or longer outings.

Because it’s fully enclosed and thoughtfully equipped, Scarborough Park is ideal for shy or reactive dogs, puppies in training, or anyone who appreciates a calm, controlled space for off-leash play with minimal fuss.

Bayside Council has strict rules in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors to off-leash areas:

• Dogs must be kept under control and supervised at all times, in sight of their owner/handler
• You must be physically able to control or restrain the dog if required by chain, cord or leash
• Your dog should not harass people or other animals. Even when dogs are in off-leash areas, they must still be under effective voice control
• If any dog shows signs of aggression or antisocial behaviour the dog’s handler must leash and remove their dog immediately
• You must clean up after your dog at all times
• You must keep your dog on a leash when entering or exiting the designated off-leash area.
