KENT Worldwide

KENT Worldwide is a privately held, family-owned American corporation founded in 1927 in Indianola, Iowa. Now led by third-generation family member Gage Kent, the company has grown from a small animal feed dealership into a multinational group operating across food, beverage, ingredients, agriculture, and pet care markets, with more than 2,000 employees across 20 states and seven countries.

KENT's Australian pet care presence operates through its subsidiary FibreCycle, which was acquired in 2019 and expanded significantly in 2022 with the purchase of two Australian manufacturers — Lovitts (Melbourne) and Our Bird (Toowoomba). Together, these businesses produce cat litter, birdseed, pet treats, supplements, and small animal nutrition for Australian retailers. Australian dog owners may encounter KENT through Zoomies, a brand of natural, bite-sized dog treats available through Pet Circle and other Australian retailers. KENT Pet Group also produces World's Best Cat Litter, one of its most recognised global brands.
