Use of The Site

You may use Dog Directory for lawful personal or business purposes only. You must not:

• Submit false, misleading, or inaccurate information in a listing or contact form.
• Use the site in any way that disrupts, damages, or impairs its functionality.

Paid Listings and Subscriptions

Location Listings

Businesses may purchase a paid listing in the Dog Directory location directory. Paid listings provide enhanced visibility and additional features compared to free listings. Listing terms, inclusions, and pricing are set out on the relevant listings page at the time of purchase.

Brand and Product Listings

Brands and retailers may purchase a listing or profile in the Dog Directory product and brand directory. Listing terms, inclusions, and pricing are set out on the relevant listings page at the time of purchase.

Subscription Terms

Paid listings are sold as recurring subscriptions billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. By purchasing a subscription, you authorise Dog Directory to charge your nominated payment method on a recurring basis.

Listing Content

You are responsible for the accuracy of the information submitted in your listing. Dog Directory reserves the right to edit, reject, or remove any listing content that is inaccurate, misleading, inappropriate, or in breach of these terms.

Payments

All payments are processed in Australian dollars (AUD) by a third-party PCI-DSS compliant payment processor. We do not store your payment card details. Prices are inclusive of GST where applicable. Dog Directory Pty Ltd will appear on your billing statement.

Cancellations

Cancelling a Subscription

You may cancel your subscription at any time by contacting us at team@dog.directory or through your account settings (where available). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to your paid listing features until that date.

Cancellation by Dog Directory

We reserve the right to cancel or suspend a listing or subscription at our discretion, including where a listing breaches these terms, contains inaccurate or misleading information, or where payment has failed. In such cases, we will notify you by email.

Refunds

General Policy

Dog Directory does not offer refunds for change of mind on subscription purchases. This is consistent with the nature of digital services and listing access, which are made available immediately upon purchase.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). If a service is not provided with due care and skill, or is not fit for the purpose for which it was supplied, you may be entitled to a remedy under the ACL. To make a claim, contact us at team@dog.directory.

Billing Errors

If you believe you have been charged incorrectly, contact us within 30 days of the charge at team@dog.directory. We will investigate and, where an error has occurred, issue a refund or credit promptly.

Annual Subscriptions

If you have purchased an annual subscription and Dog Directory is unable to provide the service as described, we will offer a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your subscription period.

Affiliate Links and Third Party Products

Dog Directory includes affiliate links to pet product retailers. We may earn a commission if you purchase a product through one of these links, at no extra cost to you. We do not endorse any specific product or retailer, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, accuracy, or availability of any third-party products or services. Any purchase you make through an affiliate link is a transaction between you and the retailer, subject to their terms and conditions.

Intellectual Property

All content on Dog Directory, including text, images, logos, and data compilations, is owned by or licensed to Dog Directory Pty Ltd. You may not reproduce, republish, or distribute any content from this site without our prior written consent. You retain ownership of any content you submit to us (such as listing descriptions or photos), but by submitting it you grant Dog Directory a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, and modify that content in connection with operating the platform.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Dog Directory Pty Ltd is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of this site, reliance on information published on this site, or any transaction conducted with a third-party retailer or business listed on the site. Our total liability to you in connection with any claim related to a paid listing or subscription is limited to the amount you paid for that listing or subscription in the three months preceding the claim.

Changes to Terms
