MooGoo

MooGoo Skin Care is a family-owned Australian company founded in 2005, headquartered in Burleigh Heads, Queensland. The company began when founder Craig noticed his mother using a thick udder cream intended for dairy cows to manage her psoriasis. He reformulated it into a lighter, non-greasy version for human use — the name "MooGoo" started as a family nickname for the cow-derived goo, and it stuck. Since then, MooGoo has grown to offer over 40 natural skincare, haircare, baby care, sun care and dental products, all Australian-made and free from parabens, phenoxyethanol and synthetic preservatives.

MooGoo entered the pet care market with its Dr Zoo brand after customers reported they were using MooGoo's human shampoo on their itchy dogs with positive results. The Dr Zoo range includes natural shampoos, conditioners, grooming creams, dry shampoo, sunscreen, and a soothing balm — all formulated with lickable, edible-grade ingredients safe if ingested by pets. Dr Zoo products are sold through pharmacies, pet retailers and online. MooGoo is privately held with no parent company.
