PetsOnMe is an Australian-owned pet insurer offering three plan levels — Accident, Classic, and Deluxe — for dogs and cats. Cover reimburses up to 80% of eligible vet bills, with a choice of excess at $100, $200, or $300, and an annual benefit limit of up to $20,000. The illness waiting period is 21 days, which is shorter than the 30-day standard applied by most Australian pet insurers. The Deluxe plan includes dental illness coverage and third-party liability insurance, an uncommon inclusion among pet insurers. Waiting periods can be waived for owners switching from another insurer who have held a similar policy for 12 months or more.

Claims are typically processed within one business day, with 95% of payouts settled by the next business day after submission. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Freedom to use any licensed vet in Australia applies across all plan levels.
