The Real Pet Food Company is an Australian pet food manufacturer headquartered in Crows Nest, New South Wales. The company traces its origins to 1994 when it pioneered fresher dog and cat food under the VIP Pet Foods brand, founded by the Quinn family. Following acquisition by Quadrant Private Equity in 2015, the business was rebranded as The Real Pet Food Company. In 2017, an Asian investor consortium led by New Hope Group, Hosen Capital, and Temasek acquired the company. Today, RPF is Australia's largest fresher pet nutrition provider, operating manufacturing facilities across Australia and New Zealand. Its brand portfolio includes Ivory Coat, Billy + Margot, Nature's Gift, Fussy Cat, V.I.P. Petfoods, Dr B's BARF, and Farmers Market.
