Berowra Valley National Park

Dog Friendly Walking Trail in Mount Colah

Overview

On-leash dogs are welcome in Berowra Valley Regional Park across three designated trails: Bellamy fire trail, Daphne trail, and Clarinda trail. The Cherrybrook access point opens onto the Daphne trail — natural surface, eucalypt canopy overhead, and the kind of sandstone bushland that feels genuinely removed from suburban Sydney. Trails can be steep and uneven in sections. Dogs must stay within the Regional Park boundary at all times; the adjoining Berowra Valley National Park, which shares a fence line, prohibits dogs completely. No off-leash areas exist within the park.

Berowra Valley Regional Park is managed by NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
