Cooper Park Cliff Walk

Dog Friendly Walking Trail in Bellevue Hill

Overview

Cooper Park occupies a sandstone gully in Woollahra, with an on-leash walking track descending through a canopy of Moreton Bay figs and native bush along the valley floor. The creek corridor creates a cool microclimate that makes this a reliable warm-weather option in an otherwise exposed suburb. The track connects the Bellevue Hill and Double Bay ridge lines via the valley, with several entry points accessible from surrounding streets. Dogs must remain on-leash throughout; Queens Park in the adjacent Centennial Parklands offers off-leash time for those wanting to extend the visit.

Cooper Park is managed by Woollahra Municipal Council.
