Glenbrook Lagoon

Dog Friendly Walking Trail in Glenbrook

Overview

Glenbrook Lagoon sits at the base of the Blue Mountains escarpment, a sheltered freshwater lagoon surrounded by eucalypt and paperbark bushland with a flat on-leash loop tracing its edges. The circuit is short and consistently shaded, making it a reliable option on hot days. Dogs must remain on-leash throughout; the lagoon is a popular swimming spot for people in summer, so keep dogs clear of the designated swimming area. The surrounding bushland connects to lower Blue Mountains trail networks for those wanting to extend the route.

Glenbrook Lagoon and its surrounds are managed by Blue Mountains City Council.
