Oatley Park Trailhead

Dog Friendly Walking Trail in Oatley

Overview

Oatley Park occupies a bushy peninsula jutting into the Georges River, with on-leash walking tracks running through tall eucalypt forest to river viewpoints, a historic castle ruin and foreshore access at the park's southern tip. The trail network mixes formed and informal paths through one of southern Sydney's most intact areas of urban bushland, with steady shade throughout. Dogs must remain on-leash; the foreshore sections are tidal and can be slippery. Picnic facilities are available near the park's main oval.

Oatley Park and its trail network are managed by Georges River Council.
