Tom Uren Trail

Dog Friendly Walking Trail in Balmain East

Overview

Named after the former Labor politician and Balmain local, the Tom Uren Trail follows the Balmain East foreshore between Darling Street Wharf and the northern tip of the peninsula. The path is entirely on-leash and winds through compact waterfront parkland with consistent views over the Parramatta River and Darling Harbour tributaries. It works best as part of a longer Balmain foreshore circuit rather than a standalone outing. Ewenton Park and Ballast Point Reserve both offer nearby off-leash areas a short distance along the peninsula.
