Overview
Located in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Sirius Cove Reserve in Mosman is an unfenced off-leash dog park with beach and water access. The reserve has a scenic good-harbour feel, combining water, grass, and shade.
The park is known for its calm, shallow harbour beach, a grassy foreshore reserve area with shade trees, a playground, picnic tables, and public toilets. Parking is available, though limited, especially on weekends.
Owners should know that dogs are permitted off leash all day Monday to Friday. On Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays dogs must be on leash between 9 am and 4 pm; before 9 am and after 4 pm they may be off leash. Dogs must remain under effective control at all times.
The reserve sits at the end of Sirius Cove Road, with access via harbour walking tracks, and offers views across Sydney Harbour. It’s a short walk from local cafes and shops in Mosman Bay and South Mosman.
Sirius Cove Reserve is best suited to dogs that are comfortable with water and good recall, and who thrive in mixed-use spaces where boundaries between beach, grass and urban fringe are shared.
Sirius Cove Reserve is managed by Mosman Council.
