Guardian Gold covers dogs and cats for specified accidents and illnesses at 75% reimbursement against a $12,000 annual limit, with no excess on claims. Sub-limits apply: $300 a year for consultations, $1,000 for tick paralysis, $2,600 for cruciate ligament conditions and $1,000 for emergency boarding. Dental and behavioural treatment sit outside the cover entirely. Specified accidental injuries have no waiting period, illness claims open after 30 days, and the six-month cruciate wait can be waived on application. GapOnly claiming is included.
