Akasha Brewing Company

Akasha runs a production brewery and taproom in Five Dock, open from late week through the weekend only. The beer list leans hop-forward — the Freshwater Pale and Hopsmith IPA are house staples — and the kitchen skips a fixed menu in favour of rotating food trucks parked out front every weekend. The calendar packs tap takeovers, brewery-day sessions and smaller local events.

Dogs are welcome in the taproom, and Akasha programs themed dog days through the year, National Dog Day among them. It is one of the few sit-down brewery options at the Inner West end of Five Dock, and regulars fold any incoming dog into the afternoon without a second thought.
