Overview
Blackwattle Bay Park sits on the harbour foreshore in Glebe, offering a long, unfenced off-leash strip with open lawn and water views across the bay. Dogs can access the water at low tide, though it's a muddy foreshore entry rather than a sandy beach — better for a wade and a cool-off than a proper swim.
The park connects to the Glebe Foreshore Walk, and the Tramsheds precinct is a short walk away for coffee after. No dedicated dog facilities, so bring water and a bowl. Strong recall is essential — it's unfenced, close to the water, and can get busy.
Managed by the City of Sydney Council.
