Sawmillers Reserve

Overview
Sawmillers Reserve is a 24-hour off-leash gem in McMahons Point featuring a pristine sandy beach with direct access to calm harbour waters and mesmerising views of the Harbour Bridge. Dogs can swim freely in the harbour, with a water station for post-swim refreshment and picnic tables and benches inviting owners to linger over the dramatic bridge and city skyline views. Public toilets are on-site, and the foreshore ambiance makes it one of the North Shore's most photogenic dog park experiences.
Nestled in the quiet residential streets of McMahons Point, the reserve is around a 10-minute walk from North Sydney station or the ferry wharf. Street parking is challenging on narrow local streets, but the reward is an exclusive, unhurried beach setting.
Sawmillers Reserve suits confident swimmers and adventure-seeking dogs in an unfenced harbour setting — solid recall is non-negotiable. The dramatic scenery and beach access make this one of North Sydney's most special off-leash destinations.
Sawmillers Reserve is managed by North Sydney Council.
