Animal Wash

Overview

Aesop Animal is a liquid skin and fur wash formulated for dogs, using a mild surfactant base with deodorising botanical oils. The formula combines lemon peel oil, tea tree leaf oil, and spearmint leaf oil to cleanse coat and skin while neutralising odour. Sodium laureth sulfate is the primary cleansing agent, so this is not a soap-free wash.

The botanical oil blend provides a subtle, natural scent without synthetic fragrance. Tea tree oil offers mild antiseptic properties but may cause irritation in dogs with sensitive or reactive skin — thorough rinsing is important to avoid residue. Suited to routine bathing for dogs with regularly maintained coats.
