Knose Pet Insurance

Overview
Knose is an Australian pet insurer offering a single customisable accident and illness plan for dogs and cats, rather than fixed tiered options. Policyholders can claim up to 90% of approved vet costs, with an annual benefit limit of up to $25,000 and no dollar sub-limits on covered conditions. The benefit percentage, annual limit, and excess are each chosen by the policyholder at sign-up. Optional extras available for eligible policies include dental illness, behavioural conditions, and specialised therapies such as physiotherapy and hydrotherapy. The illness waiting period is 14 days — roughly half the 30-day standard common among Australian pet insurers.
Knose includes 24/7 vet nurse support at no additional cost for all members. Policies can be renewed for life with no upper age cap, provided cover is held continuously. Pre-existing conditions are excluded.
