Overview

Centennial parkrun starts each Saturday at 7am from McKay Sports Ground in Centennial Park, running a course on grass and compacted dirt paths through the park's interior. The flat terrain makes it one of Sydney's most forgiving 5km courses, though the grass surface trades time for leg comfort.

Dogs are welcome on a short handheld non-extendable lead — one per runner. This is a popular event with consistent crowds; dogs should be comfortable running in close proximity to other participants. Entry is free; register once at parkrun.com.au.
