The Tudor is a Redfern pub that runs a dedicated Puppy Hour every Sunday from 2pm to 6pm — an honest four hours, during which the courtyard fills with dogs, owners, and whatever midweek-level hangovers the crowd brought through the door. The kitchen keeps things straightforwardly pub: a 250-gram sirloin with chips and salad, schnitzels, a parma rotation, and the usual tap lineup.

Dogs are welcome in the open-air courtyard year-round, not just during Puppy Hour. The building itself sold for $17 million in 2024 and has had a refresh since — new tiles, a re-polished bar, a tightened-up kitchen — without losing the look of a proper corner pub. It's the kind of place where a Sunday that was supposed to be an hour long turns into the whole afternoon.
