Urbanimals Pet Zetland

Another former DOGUE franchise that's gone independent — rebranded as Urbanimals Pet in late 2025, though the team and the quality haven't changed.

Set inside East Village Shopping Centre, the Zetland location has been serving the inner-east apartment belt (Zetland, Waterloo, Alexandria, Green Square) for over a decade. They do breed-specific grooming, cat grooming for the brave, and structured doggy playtime sessions designed for smaller groups rather than chaotic daycare free-for-alls. 

The retail offering covers premium food, treats and accessories without the overwhelming big-box feel. For the high-density suburb crowd who want proper grooming and socialisation without trekking to the Eastern Suburbs, it fills a gap that needed filling.
