Village Taproom by Wildflower and Mountain Culture

Dog Friendly Brewery in Marrickville

Overview

The Village Taproom is a 2024 collaboration between Wildflower Brewing and Blending and Mountain Culture Beer Co., occupying a 19th-century foundry workshop in Marrickville with Gold Street Dairy operating the artisan cheese pairing next door. Ten Wildflower taps — spontaneous and wild-yeast ales from the Topher Boehm and Chris Allen original Marrickville set-up — sit alongside ten Mountain Culture taps covering the core range, plus five Czech side-pull lagers for the style-curious. Wildflower has announced the Marrickville space is closing in late May 2026 so catch the site before it goes.

Dogs are welcome on the spacious patio at a picnic table under the umbrella. The Marrickville Inner West Ale Trail runs past the door and folds the taproom into the walking loop alongside Batch, Grifter and Sauce.
