The Bay Run

A 7km on-leash circuit around Iron Cove, The Bay Run traces the foreshore through Drummoyne and Five Dock before crossing briefly into Inner West Council territory. The paved, flat path suits dogs of all sizes, and water views hold for most of the loop — it's a well-used route, so expect regular dog traffic on weekends. Dogs must remain on-leash throughout; the foreshore is declared critical habitat for migratory Bar-tailed Godwits. Queen Victoria Reserve in Drummoyne offers off-leash time a short distance away.

The Bay Run is jointly managed by City of Canada Bay Council and Inner West Council.
