Pet Circle Insurance

Overview
Pet Circle Insurance is the insurance arm of Pet Circle, Australia's largest online pet retailer. The policy covers accidents and illnesses up to $30,000 annually with no sub-limits on any covered condition. Policyholders choose a reimbursement rate of 70%, 80%, or 90%, and the excess is payable once per year rather than per claim or per condition. Exclusion periods are one day for accidental injury, 14 days for illness, and six months for specified conditions. An optional 360° Care add-on extends cover to include dental illness, behavioural problems, and physiotherapy, all counted against the annual limit.
Pet Circle conducts upfront pre-existing condition checks, so policyholders are informed of any exclusions before a claim arises rather than at the point of claim. Pre-existing conditions are not covered as standard. BOAS cover requires a separate application form.
