Kiltix is a flea and tick collar for dogs originally developed by Bayer Animal Health in Germany. The collar uses the active ingredients propoxur and flumethrin, embedded in a plastic resin that releases slowly over time. The brand now sits under Elanco Animal Health following their acquisition of Bayer's animal health division.
In Australia, Kiltix provides up to 5 months protection against brown dog ticks and bush ticks, and up to 6 weeks against paralysis ticks. The collar comes in two sizes and is available through vet clinics, pet retailers, and online stores. It is also marketed as Bay-o-Pet in some regions.
