Sniffspot

Sniffspot was founded in 2018 by David Adams, a former Microsoft and Crowd Cow employee living in Seattle with two reactive dogs. The idea came from his then-girlfriend Rebecca, who texted him during a trip to say she wished there was an app to find safe, private spaces where she could let her dog off-leash. Adams turned that message into a platform. Built on the belief that all dogs have an inherent right to run, sniff, and play freely, Sniffspot connects dog owners with local hosts who rent out their private yards, fields, farms, and outdoor spaces by the hour.

Today, Sniffspot hosts over 54,000 fully fenced dog parks across the US and Canada, with spaces ranging from agility courses and swimming pools to hiking trails and quiet rural fields — all private, all bookable, and all reviewed by the community.
