Bondi Bowlo

Bondi Bowlo — the North Bondi Bowling Club — has been a community fixture since 1933, sitting next to Barracluff Park with views back across North Bondi. The club still runs active bowls alongside bistro service, with the kitchen firing from 3.30pm weekdays and 12.30pm weekends. The BBC Burger does grass-fed beef with bacon and aged cheddar; beef nachos and beer-battered fish and chips handle the rest of the casual-pub brief. Schnitzels and wraps fill out the menu. It's a North Bondi spot that treats the bowls and the bar with equal weight.

Dogs are welcome in the outdoor areas, on-lead and off the greens. Water bowls are out, and the bar stocks kangaroo chews. Outdoor service closes at 9pm, so it's a daylight-and-early-evening kind of hang rather than a late one.
