Dan Mahoney Reserve

Dan Mahoney Reserve in North Parramatta is one of the larger fenced dog parks in the City of Parramatta LGA, spanning 3.3 hectares with lighting throughout the grounds for safe evening use.

The council approved, fenced facility includes two water stations, a separate smaller enclosure near the entrance for puppies or timid dogs, waste bins, bag dispensers, and ample perimeter seating. The combination of space and infrastructure makes it one of the more well-equipped parks in the area.

Located on Gladstone Street in North Parramatta, the reserve has a strong community following and a busy peak period in the late afternoon. Note that International Canine Sports Inc runs training sessions on Tuesday and Friday evenings and Sunday mornings, during which off-leash access is restricted to on-leash only.

Dan Mahoney Reserve suits all dog sizes and energy levels, with the separate puppy zone offering a calmer option for younger or more anxious dogs.
