George Kendall Riverside Park

Overview
George Kendall Riverside Park in Ermington is a council approved, fully fenced dog park set within an 18-hectare riverside precinct along the Parramatta River. The off-leash area is divided into two thoughtfully designed zones: a Quiet Zone for senior, timid, or less social dogs, and a Playful Zone for energetic and social dogs to run freely. Modern double-gate airlocks ensure safe entry and exit, with water stations and bowls throughout the enclosure.
Beyond the dog park, the wider precinct offers scenic walking and cycling paths along the Parramatta Valley Cycleway, electric barbecues, picnic areas, multiple playgrounds, and sporting fields — making it an ideal destination for a full day out. The riverside setting in Ermington provides a genuinely scenic backdrop, well removed from the pace of the surrounding suburbs.
George Kendall Riverside Park suits dogs of all sizes and temperaments, with the separated zones providing a tailored experience for both calm and active dogs.
George Kendall Riverside Park is managed by City of Parramatta Council.
