Overview
Located in Western Sydney’s Kings Park, Kings Park Dog Park is a generously sized, fully fenced off leash dog park featuring two large enclosed areas. Designed with both safety and fun in mind, it offers separate zones for different sized dogs to play freely.
The park is known for its spacious grassy fields that allow energetic pups to sprint, chase, and socialise. Double gated entries provide security when entering and exiting, while water stations and council supplied waste bag dispensers add convenience for owners. Covered seating gives some protection from the sun or light rain, and a car park sits next to the gates for easy access.
Because the area is fully fenced and well configured, dogs can enjoy off leash time with minimal risk of wandering off. However, some areas near the gates can become muddy after heavy rain, so it’s best to take care in those spots. There is no lighting, so the park is most suitable for daytime visits.
The park is located within the Kings Park suburb, with nearby residential streets making it easy to combine a visit with a local walk or errands.
Kings Park Dog Park is well suited to confident, active dogs that enjoy running and socialising in secure, open spaces.
Kings Park Dog Park is managed by Blacktown City Council.
