Overview
The Longueville Hotel has been trading in Lane Cove since 1929. It's one of the older addresses on the Lower North Shore. The current iteration is a modern rebuild, with a bistro inside and a covered outdoor terrace at the front that keeps it usable through rain and heat. It's family-friendly without being sterile: bistro tables, a steady bar crowd, dogs settling in on the terrace.
The covered terrace is the dog-friendly zone, with weather-protected seating year round — a genuine rarity on the North Shore, where most dog-welcome pubs run open beer gardens only. A plain, unhurried pub — the covered terrace is the reason to show up.
