One Drop Brewing Company

One Drop Brewing set up in a converted Botany paper warehouse in 2019. The reggae-inspired microbrewery leans into light-flooded industrial bones: roller doors, rendered floors, timber tables built long enough for ten. The Botany Bay Lager is the flagship. Side Piece Gin, the upstairs distillery bar the owners added later, runs through its own list. The brewhouse picked up gold at the Australian International Beer Awards within its first months of opening — word-of-mouth did the rest.

Dogs and families are welcome everywhere inside the venue. Water bowls sit by the entrance. Botany pulls a mixed crowd of eastern-suburbs regulars, Mascot office folks on knock-off and weekend bike riders off the Cooks River path.
