Overview
Located in Sydney’s Lower North Shore, Reid Park in Mosman is a timed off-leash dog park. Dogs may be exercised off leash except on Saturdays from 1 October to 30 March between 8:30am and 5:30pm, per Mosman Council’s rules.
The park is known for its large open reserve located along Harnett Avenue, with play equipment, synthetic cricket wickets, a junior cricket pitch active in summer, and substantial grassed areas. Street parking surrounds the reserve, and the surroundings include bushland edges.
Owners should know that the off-leash area is unfenced. When match-day or sports bookings are in place, parts of the park may be occupied by organised sporting use. Effective recall is essential given unfenced boundaries and shared use.
Reid Park is located near the Mosman Bay foreshore, walking paths, and local amenities, with shops and cafés within walking distance.
Reid Park is best suited to confident, social dogs that respond well to recall and enjoy open, shared spaces.
Reid Park is managed by Mosman Council.
