The off‑leash zone consists of an expansive, flat grassed area typical of a sports oval—without fences and shared with sporting activities when scheduled.

Because the area is unfenced and occasionally used for organised sports, only dogs with solid recall should be let off‑lead. Owners must also stay alert during sports events and shared use.

Storey Park is located off Lyons Road (McKinnon Avenue) in Five Dock, easily accessed from local streets. Its generous open space and constant access make it ideal for flexible off‑lead outings.
