Sydney Brewery Alexandria

Sydney Brewery opened a 350-seat Alexandria taproom in 2025 on the bones of the former Rocks Brewing Company site. The move marked the parent company's twentieth anniversary. Twenty rotating taps pour across ales, lagers and ciders all brewed on-site. The fit-out leans into exposed brick, steel and street-art murals, and the kitchen runs seven days for lunch and dinner. Function rooms, brewery tours and a standing program of private bookings round it out.

Dogs are welcome throughout the taproom and outdoor seating. Ice-water bowls sit on the floor. The door-staff crowd folds dogs into the welcome without fuss. Alexandria's dense inner-city brewery cluster — 2 Halfs, Yulli's, Bracket and Batch all within a walking loop — makes the afternoon circuit straightforward.
