The Grifter Brewing Company

The Grifter started as a homebrew operation in 2012 before opening a commercial brewhouse and taproom in Marrickville's old Enmore Rd laundromat at the end of 2015. The flagship Orange Goblin pale ale and a rotating line of IPAs, lagers and sours fill the core line-up, and the warehouse has a 10-metre Big Tinnie sculpture out front that has turned into a street landmark. The brewery is B Corp certified, with social and environmental accountability built into the operation — one of a small handful of Sydney craft brewers holding the mark.

Dogs are welcome inside the taproom and out. Marrickville brewery reviews treat it as a regular. The Grifter sits within the Inner West Ale Trail walking loop alongside Batch, Sauce and Willie the Boatman, all within a flat 20-minute stroll.
