Timbrell Park

Located in Sydney’s Inner West within the Canada Bay region, Timbrell Park in Five Dock includes an unfenced off‑leash dog area along Iron Cove Creek. The designated grassy strip is separate from the sports fields and playground, offering a straightforward, community‑friendly setting along the creekside. 

The off‑leash zone occupies a long, open grassed area beside the creek and adjacent to the Bay Run pathway. It allows for free-running play while keeping dogs away from active sporting grounds and the children’s playground.

Because the area is unfenced and lies close to a waterway, strong recall is essential. The open creekside environment is well suited to dogs that respond reliably off‑lead and for owners comfortable supervising near shared-use paths.

Timbrell Park is located along Henley Marine Drive in Five Dock, with easy access to street parking and convenient proximity to local cafés and the Bay Run. This park is best suited to confident and energetic dogs of all sizes that enjoy open, water-adjacent play safely supervised by their owners.
