Ingredients
Hydrolysed Milk Protein (Alpha-Casozepine), Magnesium Glycinate, Withania Somnifera Root Extract, Microcrystalline Cellulose, Chicken Flavour Powder (Plant-Based), Magnesium Stearate, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Hypromellose Capsule.

Hydrolyzed Milk Protein, Hydrolysed Casein, Hydrolysed Lactoprotein, Hydrolysed Whey Protein
Hydrolysed milk protein is a dairy-derived ingredient produced by breaking down whole milk proteins into smaller peptides through enzymatic hydrolysis. Sourced from animal origin, its primary purpose is to provide highly digestible protein while reducing the risk of allergic reactions in sensitive pets. It is not used in its natural whole form but is utilised as a hydrolysed compound to optimise absorption and tolerance.
Hydrolysed milk protein is included as a highly digestible, hypoallergenic protein source, often used to reduce the risk of adverse food reactions in sensitive pets. Its inclusion can also support marketing claims related to specialised or veterinary diets for pets with food allergies.

Magnesium Bisglycinate, Bisglycinate Magnesium, Magnesium Diglycinate, E927
Magnesium glycinate is a compound formed by binding magnesium, an essential mineral, with glycine, an amino acid. Sourced from mineral origins, it is not used in its raw metallic state but is instead utilised as a chelated compound to enhance safety and absorption. Its primary benefit is to support nerve, muscle, and metabolic health in pets.
Magnesium glycinate is included as a bioavailable source of magnesium to support nutritional adequacy and market the product as containing chelated minerals. Its presence may also appeal to consumers seeking premium or scientifically advanced formulations.

Ashwagandha Root Extract, Withania Somnifera Extract, Indian Ginseng Root Extract, Withania Somnifera Root
Withania somnifera root extract, commonly known as ashwagandha, is a plant-derived ingredient sourced from the root of the Withania somnifera shrub. It is primarily included for its adaptogenic properties, supporting stress resilience and overall wellbeing in pets. Rather than the whole root, a concentrated extract is utilised to optimise bioactive compound delivery and ensure consistent potency in pet food formulations.
Withania somnifera root extract is included as a functional ingredient to position the product as supporting stress management and overall wellness, appealing to health-conscious consumers. Its presence also serves a marketing purpose by enhancing the product’s label appeal with a recognisable herbal extract.

Cellulose Gel, Cellulose Microcrystalline, E460(i), Purified Cellulose
Microcrystalline cellulose is a refined plant-derived ingredient produced from purified wood pulp. It serves primarily as a dietary fibre source and a functional bulking agent in pet foods, supporting digestive health and stool quality. Rather than being used in its natural plant form, microcrystalline cellulose is utilised in a processed, purified state to ensure consistency, safety, and optimal functionality in formulations.
Microcrystalline cellulose is included as a cost-effective bulking agent and fibre source to optimise product texture and maintain kibble structure. It also aids in calorie control by increasing dietary fibre without adding digestible energy.

Chicken Flavouring, Chicken Flavored, Chicken Seasoning, Gallus Gallus Domesticus Extract
Chicken flavour is a palatant derived from animal sources, designed to mimic the taste and aroma of chicken. Its primary purpose is to enhance the palatability of pet food, encouraging consistent consumption. Rather than using whole chicken, chicken flavour is typically produced through natural extracts or hydrolysed proteins, ensuring a safe, stable, and highly appealing additive for pets.
Chicken flavour is included to enhance palatability, encouraging dogs to consume the product. It also allows manufacturers to market the product as chicken-flavoured without the higher cost of using real chicken meat.

Octadecanoic Acid Magnesium Salt, Magnesium Octadecanoate, E470b, Stearic Acid Magnesium Salt
Magnesium stearate is a compound derived from the mineral magnesium and stearic acid, a fatty acid typically sourced from plant or animal origins. It is primarily used as a flow agent in pet food manufacturing, ensuring even mixing and preventing clumping. Magnesium stearate is not used in its natural metallic form; instead, it is utilised as a safe, bioavailable compound to optimise processing.
Magnesium stearate is included as a flow agent to prevent ingredients from clumping and to optimise the manufacturing process by ensuring consistent mixing and tablet formation. Its use supports production efficiency and product uniformity rather than providing direct nutritional benefits.

Fumed Silica, Silicon Dioxide, Synthetic Amorphous Silica, E551
Colloidal anhydrous silica is a mineral-derived ingredient sourced from silicon dioxide, commonly found in nature as quartz. In pet food, it serves primarily as an anti-caking agent, helping to maintain product texture and prevent clumping. It is not used in its natural, raw mineral state but is instead utilised in a purified, colloidal form to ensure safety and effective functionality.
Colloidal anhydrous silica is included as an anti-caking agent to improve the flowability and prevent clumping of powdered or dry pet food ingredients during processing and storage. Its use helps maintain product consistency and optimises manufacturing efficiency.

Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose Capsule, HPMC Capsule, E464 Capsule, Vegetarian Capsule
Hypromellose capsule is a plant-derived material, specifically a cellulose-based polymer sourced from wood pulp or cotton. It serves as a vegetarian alternative to gelatin capsules, encapsulating active ingredients for precise dosing and protection. Rather than being used in its natural cellulose form, hypromellose is processed and modified to create a safe, stable, and easily digestible capsule suitable for pet food supplements.
Hypromellose capsule is included as a plant-derived encapsulation material to deliver active ingredients in a stable, uniform dose while maintaining compatibility with vegetarian and allergen-free labelling claims. It also serves to protect sensitive ingredients from moisture and oxidation, optimising shelf life and product integrity.
