Adult Medium Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food

Pro Plan
4.8
(

)
Purina Pro Plan Adult Medium Breed Chicken Dry Dog Food is an extruded dry kibble formulated for adult dogs of medium breeds. Made in Australia, it uses a combined chicken and chicken meal base, which together constitute 34% of the formula, with brewers rice, whole grain wheat, oats, and barley providing the carbohydrate base. Animal fat supplies omega-6 fatty acids for skin and coat support, while fish oil contributes omega-3 fatty acids. The formula includes a live probiotic strain — dried Bacillus coagulans — intended to support gut microbiome balance and digestive health. Beet pulp provides insoluble fibre. The formula is declared complete and balanced for adult maintenance and is produced without added artificial colours, flavours, or preservatives. The inclusion of wheat gluten as a secondary protein booster is worth noting for owners of dogs with confirmed wheat sensitivities. Animal digest, used as a palatability agent, is a processed protein derivative and may be a consideration for owners seeking fully transparent protein sourcing. This product is suited to healthy adult dogs of medium breeds without specific dietary requirements.
