Adult Performance Chicken Dry Dog Food

Pro Plan
4.9
(
30
)
Purina Pro Plan Adult Performance Chicken Dry Dog Food is an extruded dry kibble formulated for highly active adult dogs, working dogs, and dogs with elevated energy requirements. Made in Australia, it delivers 32% protein and 21% fat — a notably energy-dense macronutrient profile intended to sustain endurance and support muscle recovery in dogs with high daily caloric demands. Chicken is listed as the primary protein. The formula also meets the nutritional requirements for pregnant and lactating females and can be rehydrated to serve as a weaning food for young puppies. Fish oil provides EPA and omega-3 fatty acids for joint mobility support, and glucosamine is included for connective tissue health. The formula is declared complete and balanced for all life stages. The high protein and fat levels make this diet unsuitable for inactive, sedentary, or overweight dogs, for whom the caloric density may contribute to undesirable weight gain without appropriate portion control. It is not intended as a standard maintenance diet for dogs with typical activity levels.
