Baker Park

Off Leash Area in Coogee

Overview

Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Baker Park in Coogee is an unfenced off-leash area. The triangular reserve is bordered by Dudley, Carr and Byron Streets and provides a large grassed space for exercise.

The park includes a playground on the Carr and Dudley Street corner, several tennis courts, and a cricket pitch. There are also public toilets and a drinking fountain along Dudley Street.

Dogs may be exercised off leash throughout the designated area. They are prohibited in the playground and tennis courts, and must remain under effective control at all times.

Baker Park sits within a residential pocket of Coogee, a short walk from local shops and Coogee Bay Road.

The park caters for dogs that are social and comfortable in open spaces without fencing, offering ample room for running and play.

Baker Park is managed by Randwick City Council.
