Cohen Park

Located in Sydney’s Inner West, Cohen Park in Annandale provides a generous off-leash space that doubles as a sporting ground.

The park is unfenced and has a relaxed, community atmosphere, with large open fields that give dogs plenty of space to run when it’s not in use for organised activities.

The off-leash area is grassy and flat, with shady trees and seating around the edges. Its size makes it well-suited to energetic dogs needing space to stretch out.

Dogs are permitted off-leash in the designated area at all times except when the ground is being used for organised sport. Because the park is unfenced and bordered by surrounding streets, dogs with reliable recall are best suited here. The grass can become muddy after rain, and there are no dedicated dog facilities, so owners should bring their own water.

The park is close to Annandale’s cafés and shops and links to the nearby Johnstons Creek corridor, which provides extended walking options.
