Richard Podmore Reserve

Off Leash Area in Narwee

Overview

Richard Podmore Reserve in Narwee is a council approved off-leash dog area set within a leafy, low-traffic residential pocket approximately 17 kilometres south of the Sydney CBD. The reserve offers open space for free running alongside Karne Street North, with the quiet, family-oriented neighbourhood making it a peaceful spot for daily dog exercise.

Please note that the reserve has recently been impacted by the discovery of asbestos on site. As a result, Canterbury-Bankstown City Council is transitioning the space from a fully fenced dog park to an approved off-leash area. Visitors should follow any current signage and council guidance regarding access while works and remediation are ongoing.

Richard Podmore Reserve is managed by Canterbury-Bankstown City Council.
