Overview
Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Rose Bay Beach (part of the Rose Bay Foreshore) in Rose Bay is an unfenced off-leash area. The beach section between Percival Park and Dumaresq Reserve is signposted as off-leash at all times.
The area is known for its sandy shoreline along the harbour, calm water access, and scenic views. Access is easy from the end of Caledonian Road or nearby residential streets.
Owners should know that dogs must remain under effective control at all times. Dogs are required to be on leash outside the designated off-leash beach section and prohibited from children’s playgrounds.
Rose Bay Beach is close to Rose Bay shops, cafés, ferry wharf, and offers foreshore walking along the harbour, making it well suited to combining a beach outing with errands or leisure.
