Snape Park

Off Leash Area in Maroubra

Overview

Located in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, Snape Park in Maroubra is a dedicated off-leash dog exercise park. The reserve is a large sports park with an inner fenced oval, tennis courts and other community facilities.

The park is known for its sportsfields, cricket practice nets, tennis courts and a children’s playground within the reserve.

Dogs may be exercised off leash in the park. Dogs are prohibited from the playground, the inner fenced oval and court areas; unleashed dogs are prohibited on sports fields.

Snape Park fronts Snape Street in Maroubra with access from surrounding residential streets.

The open, unfenced layout suits dogs with reliable recall that are comfortable sharing space near active sports areas.

Snape Park is managed by Randwick City Council.
